I have an absolute passion for knitwear. It’s very forgiving because it’s stretchy, so perfect for curvy girls. We fluctuate in size, I know that I will, especially over the festive season, so knitwear is perfectly accommodating. It can be sexy, dressy or just cosy and comfortable.
This is a slim fitting sweater and looks quite sexy – great with black jeans, or more grown up with smart black trousers. However, I’m going to wear it next week – I’m going to the theatre with a friend and then to a smart restaurant for a late supper. I shall combine it with the black pleated Tia chiffon skirt and flat black boots. I’ll grab the Beige own label black leather jacket to layer over. This is designer plus size dressing at its best. Swishy skirt, soft uber luxe leather and a designer knit.
This twinset is another firm favourite, very cute and I think quite trendy. Great with jeans or any narrow black trouser or legging. I’ll probably wear it with our faux leather and jersey black trousers.
This long bouclé cardigan is another very useful piece, a great cover up, stylish and forgiving. There are days when I really need to be hidden. I can wear this knitted coat over so many pieces.
My knitwear favourites have to include some embellishment and bling. This two piece dress and coat ensemble is another favourite of mine. Together the outfit is a grand cocktail ensemble for really special occasions; recently a friend bought it to wear to her son’s wedding. She looked fantastic. What I like about it is that you can make so many other looks with it. Rock the dress up with attitude, add some sheer black tights heels or boots and put the black leather jacket over it. The long lace coat, ahh well I would like to wear it with the Beige own label basic trouser and vest, see details below. I would shove the sleeves up and swan around in it. As a trouser ensemble, it could be great at any party over Christmas.
For those that are going on a cruise, it would be so useful to have two outfits in one as some of the cruise lines are strict about how much luggage you can take. You know what, I would even wear the jacket (it’s more of a long coat) over a straight leg black jean or legging tucked into boots, with a long sleeve top.
