Twice a year my world goes completely mad. The seasons all seem to merge together. It is still winter isn’t it?? However our lovely new spring 2014 stock is pouring into the Beige London stores and my garden has 3 brave daffodils already in flower. It’s all about forward planning – in fact we are now buying for next winter. More about that another time!
Now that spring is upon us (fashion wise anyway!) it’s a reminder that summer isn’t really too far away, so you might already be thinking about clothes for your holiday.
Our city branch carries an extensive collection of more than 15 brands including Marina Rinaldi, Anna Scholz, Persona, Wille and Elena Miro.
We have started to buy for SS14 and I’m so excited because we are off to Milan to see the Elena Miro collection. Even after 11 years of buying plus size fashion I still get a thrill when I walk into their show room. Elena Miro is one of the few collections that really understand how a curvy woman should dress. There isn’t any compromise on quality or style.
I have a soft spot for Harrods (I trained there as a buyer) and now as a plump (well fat actually) woman? ….. girl? I can’t believe that yet another store has decided to banish me from their midst. You may have read my other blogs, regarding Selfridges and seen my comments about Harvey Nichols.

Or treat yourself to a luxury pampering session, new hair cut or just sample some of the delicious things to eat and drink around the area.
