Curvy ladies that don’t fit the fashion industry’s stereotype can face a tough challenge when it comes to finding gorgeous designer clothes that flatter and celebrate your figure. We think it’s about time fashion designers woke up to the fact that women have different shapes, and that not all of us can fit in clothing under a size 12.
Beige currently have three fantastic shops under their wing catering to a curvy girl’s stylish needs. But we are always looking for ways to improve on your shopping experience. So with that in mind, we have planned to move one of our branches to an even finer store.
We have started to buy for SS14 and I’m so excited because we are off to Milan to see the Elena Miro collection. Even after 11 years of buying plus size fashion I still get a thrill when I walk into their show room. Elena Miro is one of the few collections that really understand how a curvy woman should dress. There isn’t any compromise on quality or style.
I have a soft spot for Harrods (I trained there as a buyer) and now as a plump (well fat actually) woman? ….. girl? I can’t believe that yet another store has decided to banish me from their midst. You may have read my other blogs, regarding Selfridges and seen my comments about Harvey Nichols.
Marina Rinaldi for mother of the bride and special occasions
When a child announces up coming nuptials the excitement soon becomes somewhat of a nightmare when it comes to finding beautiful mother of the bride / special occasion wear in plus size.
Plus Size Designer clothing, what does she mean, I hear you ask? Well you know stylish, chic, exclusive, up market and of course, large. Well larger than size 16.Yes there are a few brands that fit into this category.
